Timmy Vegas & Barbara Tucker - We can Do It - M n s 2

Queen of Soulful House Barbara Tucker continues to thrill us with her soulful and spiritual vocals. With a ton of hits to her credit, she continues to deliver the goods on every song she sings, and "We Can Do It" is no exception to the rule. This 12" is packed with several mixes to satisfy the club heads, but my favorites are the classic and the Audiowhores mixes. The Classic mix is very soulful and has all of the ingredients to make you yearn for more. The Audiowhores mix gives the peak-hour heads something to rave about. Either mix will satisfy you. //Tony Wilson July 2006

Bobby & Steve feat. Pete Simpson - In My Heart - Zoo

The twins (Bobby & Steve) from London team up with vocalist Pete Simpson to give us a nice song. When I heard this song for the first time I was hooked. Bobby & Steve's mix is a bit soulful and compliment Pete's vocals. DJ Spen's MuthaFunkaz vox and dub mixes are a tad bit harder for the prime time heads, but keeps the song true to form. Another fine offering from the boys at Zoo. //Tony Wilson July 2006

Groove Junkies feat. Solara - Paradise - OM

Evan and Parish from Morehouse records is at it again by giving us another soulful artist from their camp. Keeping it real by turning out some quality house music. This gem gives you four mixes to choose from, but I must say that I'm sold on the GJ Classic mix. It is oozing with some serious and kick ass vibes, tight drums, classic Spanish guitar riffs, and a pumping bass line to name a few. The other mixes are good also, for those of you who like their sound a bit different. The boys at Morehouse are making a name for their label by turning out another quality gem. //Tony Wilson July 2006

Ann Nesby - So much Joy - Code Red

Ann Nesby is one of my hero's when it comes to Gospel-Dance music. With her latest offering on Code Red records entitled "So Much Joy", you'll see why. This song is packed with that old-school gospel flavor and will have you dancing, shouting, and raising your hands. Classic gospel piano riffs, horns, pumping bass and drums, and Ann's vocals make this song a hit for me. The vox and dub mixes are superb and will work any crowd, in any club, anywhere. A must for all. //Tony Wilson July 2006

Masterbuilders - Showbiz MASTERBUILDERS

Simply fantastic. Need I say more.// Ingela Borgefjord

RBT 007 DJ Jeroenski "The One/Get Down" REAL BASIC TRACKS

I love the acid flavour on Get Down, can't imagine any people that wouldn't dance to this. The One sounds good, sampling such a classic as D-train is definatly putting you on a thin line between good and bad but Jeronski does it well and I'll probably end up playing both the original and this mix at the same time a couple of times!// Ingela Borgefjord

Justin Michael & Darwin Paul Feat Jackie Wilson "Turn it Up" (Delecto Recordings)

I'm in love! The original mix has all the ingredients I need to get pleased and more. Absolute top tune, both vocals and instrumentation is suberb. The StoneBridge mix adds a different flavour that I'm sure will work a treat on some of the main floors even though admittidly the Original mix is the one for me. Dropped these on the radiostation two days in a row and look forward to Turn It Up at every oppertunity I get. No question, a 5 star package!// Ingela Borgefjord

DJ Prom - Slow It Down LITMUS

The Warren Clarke mix has an "at night" vibe to it and should definatly be able to be as big w. the right support. Usually I tend to like the original mixes more and that's the case with the new DJ Prom as well. Very uplifting and most definatly a track that encourages you to dance - hard to stand still. Works a storm on the dance floor. Definatly a gem you can't afford missing out on! //Ingela Borgefjord

DJ Camacho - Worlds Collide WAKING MONSTER

"I listened to the tracks for a while late one night," said Camacho. "Got the vibe and then did the mix, live, like I would to rock a crowd." A musical journey showcasing not only the various styles of global house music from the Afro to the Jazzy and the deep but the label that is Waking Monster Media - home to another legend on the scene Mr Keith Thompson. The absolute top tune on this album for me is Bazwaana's Free My Soul, this one alone is worth the buy and it's a top tune that could reach the stars! The mixcompilation also includes last years anthem "Africa In Your Veins" and many future dancefloor groovers. The album is like a smoothly mixed cocktail and a really party starter. // Ingela Borgefjord Out now on Waking Monster Media

Handled with Jonnie & K-Boy¹s disco mittens, OTen Percent¹ gets a thorough house re-work, oozing with enough sparkle to put Mr Sheen out of a job, resulting in a fabulous soulful peaktime groove remaining faithful to the original. Melba Moore - My Heart Belongs To You - Soulfuric
Melba Moore delivers a stunning performance on this song with her intense vocals. A song complete with everything needed to work the crowd. DJ friendly with two great mixes to choose from. Ron Carroll's BMC mix give's you that Chicago-style flavor. Jon Cutler work's his magic by giving the song his patent deep distant music style for the heads. Another fine song from the Soulfuric camp. // Tony Wilson

Ultra Nate & DJ Spen Presents Jada - If You Should Ever Be Lonely - Code Red
Ultra & Spen teams up to give us Jada, an up-and-coming songstress who is going to be around a long time. This song is definitely club/dance-oriented and will work with any sound system. Heavy-bottoms with a strong and pumping rhythm section coupled with Jada's refreshing vocals make's this one a massive club hit in the making. // Tony Wilson

Kenny Bobien - Share - Devotion
Share is another gospel-house vocal from the camp at Devotion. This one features Kenny Bobien, a man who has captivated the dance world with his falsetto-style vocals. This uplifting and passionate song combines a jazzy and rhythmic sound which is fused with a heart-pounding bass line, funky guitar work, smooth piano riffs, old-skool cow bells, and Kenny's spiritual and inspirational vocals. The dub version features the same intensity level, but with a more deeper sound. The workout mix is a bit more harder for those peak hour heads. All-in-all, this song has a mix to satisfy any crowd in any club. // Tony Wilson

Tommy Blaize - Takin U Back - SuSu
Takin U Back is a song that will stimulate your dance senses the first time you hear it. It has that old-skool funky beat and sound which make's it a floor-filler. The bass and funky guitar riffs are infectious and takes the groove and rhythm to another level. Tommy's vocals are superb and are tailor-made for this one. This song will work in any big room or even in a smaller venue. This is one for the DJ box for sure.// Tony Wilson

Mathias Matty Heilbronn feat. Inaya Day - I Made It SUSU
One of Mattys big strenghts is his choice in vocalists and I Made It is no exception. It's graced by Inaya Day who delivers a stunning vocal performance up her usual standards. The Matty's II Deep mix is over 10 minutes long and worth every second of play, it's a beautiful number that lets Ms Day shine though in full strenght. The proper after hours heads will love the melodic and melancolic Soulflower Dub. The Acid Thunder Mix has that big room NY house sound and will work on the more commercial dance floor whereas the Sensible House Dub is more pumpin' and will work in most peak time sets. // DJ Ingela

Natasha Lew - Special Love PRET A PORTER
Pret A Porter is a new underlabel to Mix2Inside, the italian label and production team known for their happy, uplifting and dancefloor friendly sound. Special Love is no exception, and it comes with 4 different mixes for every tastes. The Luis Radio mix has a deep, driving, monotonic sound yet features a full vocal. The Mix2Inside Vox has a more traditional vocal house sound with what would be Mix2Insides formost strenght - their breaks, which makes this a proper hands in the air anthem. Mr Bords Clubfloor mix is borderline handbag house and the Latin Flowers mix, you guessed it, dubbier, latinoflavoured music to make you shine. // DJ Ingela

Physics feat. Teresa - Pushin' - Soulstar
The Original mix is deep yet uplifting with lush vocals and has that stand out sound Physics is so well known for. This swedish group never disapoint and "Pushin" has been well recieved when played both on the radio and in clubs. Also a more mellow mix with the vocals as the center piece is tastely delivered by Harley & Muscle for those late night hours. // DJ Ingela

John Dahlbäck & Andy P - Falling In Love - Clubstar
That electro sound is growing quickly into the house scene. In many cases it's far to electronic and quite uninteressting for my tastes but John and Andy delivers one of the few exceptions. Falling In Love has "HIT" written all over it. Great vocal performance, a raw modern sound perfect for that big superclub and catchy enough for radio. I'm just waiting for the video. // DJ Ingela

yours sincerely
